256 images—an archive from which to build meaning and visual direction/s that begin to reflect my thinking, seeing, editing, analysis and synthesis processes...
The idea behind the 256 image collection was centered around the theme of "repetition". Beyond moving the scene captured by the camera as it is, the repeated objects are repeated once more time to form a formative composition. Repetitive scense that can be easily found around us are disassembled and reassembled in my own way.
Any time you see a multiplicity of an object, you begin to notice similarities and contexts in a new way.

프로젝트.
“반복”이라는 개념으로 부터 시작된 프로젝트는 이미 반복되어진 물체나 현상을 책자 속에서 한 번 더 반복시켜 새로운 조형적 형상을 만들어낸다. 이는 우리 주변에서 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있는 반복적인 장면이 나 개인의 방식으로 분해되고 재조립되었다는 것을 의미한다. 반복이 계속 될 수록 한 이미지가 가진 내용들은 점차 잊혀지고 새로운 의미와 조형적 속성이 강조된다.
